Week Five Predictions (Music Video Week)

Each week I will be posting my predictions for every Big Ten game game as well as a few of the out of conference. As always these will be accompanied by related (not really) YouTube videos.

Penn State at Indiana

This video more relates to me.  See, Pen nState was catchy this off season and, just like this song, were popular early on.  Then we got a closer look at this team and saw the disturbing lyrics.  Yeah it is messed up.  However, they face an Indiana team they have never lost to this week so, for now, let's just enjoy the catchy melody and worry about the lyrics next week.Pick: Penn State

Notre Dame at Purdue
The Irish come in with more talent and more momentum than the Boilermakers.  Purdue could make a run of it at home but at the end of the day I think Notre Dame takes this one by suffocating the Purdue defense into submission.Pick: Notre Dame

Northwestern at Illinois
The battle between two teams which claim to be Chicago's team.  Ironically, Chicago's team is playing in West Lafayette this week (Notre Dame) but, to be fair, Chicago's Big Ten team is really what's at stake here and I think the city's true favorite will win this one.Pick: Illinois

Minnesota at Michigan

They came to the Gophers, to win a championship.  Couldn't beat NDSU, because they play like shit.  But with hard work they could win on this trip, oh but that's right they play Michigan.....It sucks to be you (Minnesota), it sucks to be you, I say it sucks to be you.Pick: Michigan

Michigan State at Ohio State

Michigan State has yet to prove they can beat teams with this much talent, and until they prove otherwise I refuse  to pick them.Pick: Ohio State

Nebraska at Wisconsin

When you say Wisconsin, you've said it all.  Badgers have yet to look vulnerable and the Huskers look very sketchy going into this game.  Bret Bielema has only lost three home games in his tenure at Wisconsin and you wonder if Nebraska is ready for the craziness that is a night game in Madison.

Other Games

Alabama at Florida

Florida has been getting a lot of hype with very few substance wins.  They really only have a couple weapons on offense and have yet to face a real jaw breaking SEC offense.  More often than not, teams like this in the SEC are gonna get cut down.
Pick: Alabama

Texas at Iowa State
 
A matchup between two coaches under pressure to make a breakthrough.  Mack Brown is 24-8 coming off a bye week and you can bet the Longhorn defense is going to be ready to shut down Steele Jantz with the extra time to prepare and memories of last season's loss in Austin still fresh.
